Lauren and Ryan’s wedding day was a whirlwind! To start the morning off, Lauren had a fluke accident with a mirror that left its mark on her face. This could have set a really somber tone for the day, but when I walked in a few hours later to Lauren’s smiling face it reaffirmed to me just how special she is! Of course she was bummed, but she was able to completely rally and let her light shine on everyone around her. I witnessed the make up artist work absolute magic and when Lauren was done, you would have never known how the morning started.
The next thing on the agenda, was watching the weather like a hawk. Thankfully, the Barn at Willow Brook is so stunning that rain or shine the day would have been unforgettable! We experienced a total of 3 crazy storms from noon to 4pm, where the clouds parted and the sun finally showed itself just in time for the ceremony. The weird weather left us with some really intense wind, but nothing some veil weights and amazing vendors couldn’t fix!
Watching Lauren and Ryan conquer this whirlwind of a day with such grace and patience was inspiring. Together, with their family and friends they danced and sung the night away! ❤
