Jacob and Emily are like family, so this wedding was an extra special one for me! They are both kind, loving and so generous. They welcomed their daughter, Everleigh, into the world this past October. Everleigh was able to be apart of all the special moments a wedding day brings, making it somehow infinitely more special!
The day started with some pretty intimidating storms, but that didn’t stomp anyone’s spirits! Everleigh tried on her first wedding dress and it was the cutest thing ever! After some pretty epic first looks with bridesmaids and Emily’s dad, I headed to the venue at Twin Lakes State Park. For the most part the bad storms had past and we were able to sneak in the groomsmen’s portraits before the ceremony started. Calling that one a win!
The venue overlooks the lake, creating such a peaceful vibe. The ceremony was perfect- complete with great stories, a whole bunch of love, a little bit of rain, and even some sunshine! The sun managed to stay out for portraits (we got really lucky)! To follow were the most beautiful dances that made me cry like baby. Bride and groom portraits were a rainy dream; Emily and Jake are such troopers. Full of laughs and love, it was the BEST day for the most incredible couple.
