Calm. Peaceful. Bright. Warm. All things you want on your summer wedding day. Adwina and John’s day was all of those; it was flawless!
The day began with everyone tidying up from the powerful storm the evening before. The sun was shining and the weather was about as picture perfect as it comes for a June wedding in Virginia. The Stodola, was the best backdrop for Adwina and John. It matched their easy-going personalities! From the sunflowers and lanterns to the little pieces of wood the centerpieces sat on; the vibe was spot on. The lights hanging from the ceiling and outside brought this overwhelming feeling of peace, like fire flies or stars in a summer night sky.
Adwina is one of those rare people you meet that are just SO incredibly kind and always looking out for everyone else. And John, he looks out for her. Watching them throughout the day brought me such joy! John’s step dad preformed the ceremony and it was effortless; simple and so very sweet. I could have photographed their family and friends talk about them and tell stories about them all night long! Everyone came together helping in little ways to make the whole day flow so smoothly. It was the perfect wedding day!
